Create Weekly 'Feel Good' Time

All kids crave extra time and attention from their mothers. But that need is more so after a separation and divorce.

So when you do give them your time, it is essential for the well being of your children that you lift your mood when you are around them.

They also need a rountine in which they feel safe. Part of that is ensuring regular relaxation time with them.

Take the time out, make some popcorn together, and cuddle up to a favourite feel good DVD. Let you and your kids be lost in a fantasy world where, for a short time at least, life feels great. The good feeling that you'll all experience will linger long after the movie has finished and will help all of you move forward with a bit more positivity.

Try to make a regular weekly movie night with your kids. It's a great opportunity to bond closer as a family and cuddle up. It will also be soemthing that your children will enthusiastically look forward to.
